Sidrah Baloch
Assistant Director of Policy
As Assistant Director of Policy, Sidrah plays an essential role in facilitating WEPC’s research-practice partnerships in support of the center’s mission of conducting and disseminating rigorous, policy-relevant research to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for underserved students. Prior to joining WEPC, Sidrah worked at Insight Education Group as a Data Manager for Project IGNITE, a network of school districts focused on improving educator effectiveness and diversity through various classroom-, school-, and district-level strategies. Sidrah was also previously a Research Manager at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, where she partnered with local and state education agencies to generate rigorous evidence about effective teaching and learning, specifically regarding chronic absenteeism, postsecondary readiness, career and technical education, educational software, and access to advanced courses. Sidrah has a master’s degree in Urban Education Policy from Brown University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wellesley College.
